About the Job

Ethio-Professionals’ Security Solutions (EPSS), is a non-governmental, not for profit organization with the headquarters in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) established in 2021. EPSS is a humanitarian and development organization established with the aim of changing customers’ perceptions towards safety, security, and wellbeing by outdoing ourselves every day. It provides landmine clearance, explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), minefield survey, travel risk management services and explosive ordnance risk education (EORE) and importantly safety and security services, Rehabilitation and Conflict Resolution to help the recovery and development of affected communities.
EPSS in collaboration with Humanity and Inclusion (HI) and Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is currently at the verge of starting the project entitled: Comprehensive Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) Response in conflict-affected areas of Tigray Regional State, Ethiopia with the operational scope in Eastern and North Western zones.
EPSS is looking for qualified and competent applicants for the following positions:

 

NTS EXPERT AND EORE TRAINER JOB SUMMARY:

 

Under the supervision of the EORE Team leader, the NTS expert and EORE trainer shall be stationed at Eastern zones in Tigray and will be responsible for overall activities focusing on NTS,

EORE training, documentation of the project implementation records and reporting to the EORE team leader.

Main tasks of the NTS and EORE Trainer:

Conduct NTS and EORE in the target areas in consultation with the EORE team leader,
Keep the survey records, prepare timely reports and share with EORE team leader,
Collaborate with the EORE team
Salary:  As per the organization’s scale

About You

Minimum qualifications and skills:

BA/Diploma in social sciences, Political Sciences, or related field
Minimum 2 years’ experience in project management, community mobilization and training
Prior experience in NTS and EORE is required,
Strong field survey skills,
Strong determination to promote gender equality,
Tigrigna and Amharic language knowledge is mandatory,
