Berhane Gereziher Hailu

I was graduated from Ambo University College of Agriculture Department of plant science having BSc. Degree in Crop Production and Protection. I have also graduated from Admass University with BA Degree in Economics.

Recently from August 1- 2023 to Jun 30-2024 I have worked at plan international Ethiopia Tigray program area (TPA) in the position community development facilitator (CDF) in Australian human partnership food crisis activation in Ethiopia DFAT project food security and livelihood activity. But now I have terminated due to project termination. Additionally, in the mention position and organization starting from May 2022 to July 30-2023 I have worked in responding IDP need and building resilience in Tigray (RINBRT) project for livelihood and child protection activities.

Previously I had worked in Governmental and Nongovernmental organizations particularly in local NGO REST office with the DONOR of USAID, Development Food Security Activity(DFSA) program as livelihood and value chain officer for about 9 years and 6months in emergency response program like provision and distribution of food and non-food item, crop seed, vegetable seed, and development activities in livelihood and value chain program like fruit and vegetable production, irrigation agronomy, forage development, livestock production, micro garden development integrated with food demonstration activities for supporting children, youth, women, pregnant, people with disability, and people living with HIV AIDS. With regard to this my work experience I participated in different training activities being implemented on government and NGOs.

Better experience on managing local and international projects USAID-PSNP (DFAP, DFSA), JEOP, WFP, UNICEF, DANIDA, and EU-CARE, NSA and DFAT/AHP/) fund projects working.
